Yes, all the planters and objects (so 99% of our products) are handmade. This is the charm of a Pottery Pots product and makes that all items are unique and might slightly differ from one another.
Which items are not handmade?
Only the maintenance products such as the oil and some accessories such as the wheels and drills are not handmade.
Our use and care collection offers a variety products to maintain or upgrade your Pottery Pots planters. Most of our products can be used both indoors and outdoors. When products are placed outdoor a special outdoor treatment is required. The use and care accessories keep your products in the best condition possible.
The dimensions and weights of our products can be found in the specifications of the product on the product detail page. All of our products are handmade and each items is unique.

The weight is indicated per item. If an item consists of a set of multiple items, the weight applies to the complete set.
Yes, most product scan be used both indoors and outdoors. If it is not possible to use an item outdoors, we will clearly state this with the product.
If the products are placed outside, it is important to drill holes in the bottom, so the excess water can drain and the planter does not break during frost.
If the item is placed indoors, make sure that an inner box/cover or pond liner is placed in the item.
No, all planters in our collection have had a treatment in which the bottom 25 centimers of the planter has been treated with a coating. This coating ensures that this part is waterproof. However, when an item is placed indoors at home or in the office, we advise to always check whether the planter is waterproof and use a pond liner to be absolutely sure. The products are handmade and transported, a small hairline crack can make the product no longer waterproof.
Our products have not been developed as a vase or water basin.
No, the sun is strong, so most products will show discolouration over time. Our Essential collection, however, contains a UV-resistant lacquer, so that color remains perfect for years.
The black Fiberstone planters (color code -01) from the Natural collection can be treated 2-4x per year with our special maintenance oil. This oil ensures that the black color is retained.
All our products hardly require any maintenance. If they are dirty, a dry cloth or sponge and some water and soap will ensure that the product is clean again.
Aggressive cleaning agents and high-pressure cleaners attach the product and are therefore not recommended.
